Beautiful French 1930's Art Deco wall clock by Girod in a glass fronted wooden case. Chimes and 'Bongs' on the hour, lovely melodic chimes on the quarter and half hour, 8 day wind-up movement with pendulum, keeps very good time. There is a facility to turn off the 'Bongs' and 'chimes' if desired, this is done by pulling on pull chains inside the cabinet either side of the pendulum. Features a mid tone walnut case, silvered dial with black hands and numerals and a chrome faced pendulum. This clock would make a wonderful focal point to any room or hallway. Condition is excellent the case has been newly French polished and the movement serviced.
