Absolutely outstanding and very imposing large 1930's Art Deco French Rosewood and burr walnut double bed. These fine examples don't come onto the market very often and this fine example will prove to be an excellent investment for any Art Deco enthusiast . This very impressive bed comprises a large headboard with box shaped recesses either side, two fantastically shaped integral bedside cabinets, side rails and a gorgeous footboard. This bed really does have the wow factor in every sense and is exceptional quality in both craftmanship and the expensive veneers used. Each panel has quarter veneers in the most beautiful burr walnut. The footboard and cabinets have been veneered in Rosewood giving an almost tiger skin effect - all in all very glamorous! As you can see from the pictures this is a beautiful piece of furniture and typifies Art Deco at it's very best - All the handles are original tubular copper with red catalin/bakelite decoration . Newly hand French polished to the highest standard this bed is in excellent condition.
