| This is a rather nice Art deco 1930's inkwell manufactured by Swivodex Zephyr American Corporation. The inkwell is in a classic art deco style and is made of brown bakelite and black glass with very much the machine age look that's so collectable today. The base of the inkwell contains the maker’s mark and is stamped “Trade Mark Pats. Pending New York, NY.“ The inkwell is in excellent and remarkable condition with no signs of damage and minimal wear. The ink pen is also trade marked to the nib and body.
