| This is a superb
and very hard to source 1930's Art Deco bachelors chest, it's terrific design
coupled with it's stylish presence prove most appealing indeed. The raised figured
walnut top is wonderfully presented and lifts up to reveal a mirror attached to
it's reverse side and a brass bracket which holds it in an upright position, while
the quarter sectioned internal compartment is a splendid feature in itself - great
for storing those little bits and bobs. The drawers are fronted with a delightful
pattern of figured walnut graining, while stylish chrome and bakelite handles
enable access to each spacious and dove tailed interior. Bracket feet raise and
support the chest, and compliment it's design in an ideal fashion.The
condition is excellent, all drawers run smoothly and has been newly French polished
by our restorers. A great piece of bedroom furniture which will easily intergrate
with other furnishings.
