This great set of six Bakelite-handled Art Deco fruit knives, made in Germany in the 1930s. The knives were made in the German town of Solingen, famous as a knife-producing town, and come in their own art deco styled stand. The knife blades are made from stainless steel, marked as Rostfrei, and the knife handles are made from warm marbled toffee coloured Bakelite (which tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome). Condition is excellent with minimal signs of aging, no damage to mention.
