Beautiful 1930's Art deco walnut twin pedestal desk.This desk is an
excellent quality piece of Art Deco furniture, and it will make a
very stylish addition to any room, office or study. Its excellent
figured walnut veneers have a delightful pattern of grain, especially
the quarter veneered top, and the walnut sides of each pedestal lead
to a nicely fashioned plinth.The solid unpolished panelled back is
testament to the build quality of this desk, as are the drawers mahogany
linings and dovetailed joints, while chrome handles are fitted to
the drawers and door. The cupboard is fitted with a removable but
not height adjustable shelf. The condition is excellent as the desk
has recently been newly restored and professionally French polished.
All drawers run smoothly.
